Locals Calix, Mejia-Flores named to U.S. U-17 Men's National Team Roster for 2011 Nike International Friendlies
Vriginia players Jorge Calix (D.C. United; Alexandria, Va.) and Herber Mejia-Flores (McLean Youth Soccer; Manassas Park, Va.) are the latest Virginia players to be recognized by the U.S. National program.
Calix and Mejia-Flores have been named by U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team head coach Wilmer Cabrera to be part of the 20 man squad set to compete in the upcoming 2011 Nike International Friendlies in Florida starting November 30.
